The 135th Annual Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Hilton Hotel, One Hilton Court, Parsippany NJ. SCHEDULE OF DEADLINES November 15, 2008 - Resolutions                              - Canonical Amendments                              - Constitutional Amendments                              - Items of business proposed to be introduced at Convention 2009 November 30, 2008 - Nominations for elected offices December 1, 2008 - Late nominations for inclusion in pre-convention package and publicity January 23, 2009 - Late nominations for elected offices January 28, 2009 - Late resolutions to amend the 2009 diocesan budget (submitted by noon) January 29, 2009 - *Names submitted to the Bishop for the Necrology March 1, 2009 - Parochial Reports Due * Names submitted for the necrology should be for those individuals who have been active on committees, commissions, councils and other bodies of the Diocese of Newark or the wider church.
